The Common Cathode RGB LED module is a versatile component that combines three LEDs (Red, Green, Blue) into a single package. By adjusting the voltage on each pin using PWM, you can mix these channels to produce over 16 million different colors.
Wiring Tip: If your module does not have built-in resistors on the board (look for tiny black squares labeled ‘331’ or similar), make sure to add 220Ω resistors in series with the R, G, and B pins to prevent burning out the LED.
