The Voice Recognition Module V3 is a compact speech recognition module that adds offline voice control to your electronics projects. You don’t need internet or a cloud service. Record your own commands, such as “lights on”, “forward” or “stop”. When you speak one of them, the module recognises it and sends the result to your Arduino or ESP32.
Because you train every command yourself, you can use any word or short phrase in any language, including English, Twi and Ga. That makes this voice control module a strong choice for students, hobbyists and engineers in Ghana.
Key Features of the Voice Recognition Module V3
- Stores up to 80 voice commands. Load up to 7 at a time for recognition.
- Works offline. No internet, app or cloud service needed.
- Any language. Record commands in English, Twi, Ga or any other language.
- UART serial interface. Easy to connect to Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 and STM32.
- High accuracy. Up to 99% in quiet conditions.
- Low power. Under 40mA while working and under 1mA on standby.
- Compact size. About 30 × 25 × 5mm.
- Microphone included. It’s ready to use out of the box.

How to Get Started
- Wire the module to your Arduino as shown above.
- Install the VoiceRecognitionV3 library in the Arduino IDE.
- Upload the training example and record your voice commands.
- Load up to 7 commands to make them active.
- Use the recognised command number in your code to control LEDs, relays or motors.
Tips for best accuracy: train in a quiet room, keep commands to 1–2 words, and speak the same way you did during training.
