Although this sensor is not necessarily an upgrade from the previous LJ18A3-8-Z/BX Capacitive Sensors that we already stock, it does offer the benefit of a longer sensing reach, more diverse sensing abilities for dielectric materials, and up to 10mm distance compared to the previous 8mm. This ensures that it will be able to maintain accurate detection capabilities even if you have a metal Build Plate, allowing you to use beds like the UltraBase or similar types of glass or even ceramic beds.
