The BTS7960 module is built for much heavier loads. It pairs two BTS7960 high-current half-bridge chips into a full H-bridge, so you get forward, reverse and smooth PWM speed control of a single large DC motor.
The board has a large aluminium heatsink for better cooling. It also has a 74HC244 buffer chip that keeps your microcontroller separate from the power side. Control takes just two PWM signals and two enable pins, and it works directly with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and STM32.
Key Features
- High current capacity. Up to 43A peak, for large DC motors.
- Full H-bridge. Forward, reverse, braking and PWM speed control.
- Wide supply range. 5V to 27V, so it suits 12V and 24V batteries and power supplies.
- 3.3V and 5V logic compatible. It works with Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi.
- Built-in protection. Overcurrent, overtemperature and undervoltage shutdown.
- Current sense outputs. R_IS and L_IS let you monitor motor current.
- Large onboard heatsink. It runs cooler under heavy loads.
- Logic buffer. It helps protect your microcontroller from the power stage.

Usage tips:
- Send PWM to RPWM with LPWM at 0 to turn one way. Send PWM to LPWM with RPWM at 0 to reverse.
- Never drive RPWM and LPWM HIGH at the same time.
- Always connect the Arduino GND to the module GND.
- Use thick wires on the B+/B- and M+/M- terminals for high-current motors.
