The Water Level Sensor Module is a simple, high-sensitivity device designed to detect water depth or rainfall. It works by having a series of exposed parallel traces on the board which measure the water droplet volume to determine the water level.
To make your sensor last longer, power it only when you are taking a reading (e.g., once every minute) rather than leaving it powered 24/7. This prevents electrolysis and corrosion on the metal traces.

- The Water Level Sensor is an easy-to-use, cost-effective high-level/drop recognition sensor.
- It is obtained by having a series of parallel wires exposed traces measured droplets/water volume in order to determine the water level.
- The more water, the more wires will be connected.
- As the electrical contact area increases, the output voltage will gradually rise.
