The PCA9685 servo driver can be connected to a Raspberry Pi, via the I2C bus protocol. It allows the Raspberry Pi to generate the PWM signals and send them to the connected servo motors or other PWM controlled devices. Thus, the Raspberry Pi can be integrated into an automatic control systems and robotics.
